As well as querying the environment for options, libvpb may be configured through the use of files in the
/etc/vpb directory. For later model hardware which can be fully autodetected, such as the
OpenSwitch and
OpenPCI cards, these files are entirely optional and sensible defaults will be used where possible if they are absent. For the
OpenLine and
OpenLog cards, they must be present and configured correctly as these two cards are otherwise indistinguishable from each other to the host machine.
This is the top level configuration file for all cards.
Contains configuration options specific to cards that use the
vtcore driver, such as
OpenPCI and
OpenSwitch12 cards.
