This package is written by the Debian maintainer of the package, David
van Leeuwen. The `upstream version' is published only as a derivative
of the Debian package, as vold_<version>.orig.tar.gz.

However, this `upstream version' is also available from the archive at
Sunsite,

ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/utils/disk-management/vold_1.1.orig.tar.gz

But, mind you, sunsite's submission protocol is kind-of difficult, so
the package might still be in ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/Incoming

Through HTTP the package is available from the author's website:

http://davl.op.het.net/linux/vold_1.1.orig.tar.gz
