Node:MIDI instrument names, Previous:MIDI block, Up:Sound
MIDI instrument names
The MIDI instrument name is set by the Staff.midiInstrument
property or, if that property is not set, the Staff.instrument
property. The instrument name should be chosen from the list in
MIDI instruments.
BUGS
If the selected string does not exactly match, then LilyPond uses the default (Grand Piano). It is not possible to select an instrument by number.
