This is a Debian Linux's prepackaged version of the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology's LCLint C syntax checking utility.
With minimal effort, LCLint can be used as a better lint.
If additional effort is invested adding annotations to programs,
LCLint can perform stronger checks than can be done by any standard lint.

Historic note:

This package was done by Dale Miller <dale@csd.uwo.ca>, from the original
sources that were available at ftp://larch.lcs.mit.edu/pub/Larch/lclint/

This package was taken over by Christian Meder meder@control.toronto.edu on
Fri, 11 Apr 1997 10:40:38 -0400.
Sources were downloaded from ftp://ftp.sds.lcs.mit.edu/pub/lclint
or a suitable mirror.

There are minimal changes to the original source. Only necessary files
needed for package maintenance by the Debian package system were
added in the debian directory.
