kernel-patch-2.0.36-m68k

This package contains diffs against the kernel-source-2.0.36 package
to bring it in line with the latest Linux/m68k sources.

Tho following diffs are included:

 o 2.0.36-native.diff.gz the standard Linux/m68k source patches
that adds support for Amiga and Atari machines.

o 2.0.36-vme.diff.gz additional patch applied onto native diff
   to add Richard Hirst's <richard@sleepie.demon.co.uk>
   BVME4000/6000, MVME162 and MVME166/167 support.

o 2.0.36-mac.diff.gz alternative additional patch to add Macintosh
   support.

To use this package please install kernel-package and read
/usr/doc/kernel-package/README.gz and
/usr/doc/kernel-package/Multi-Arch.gz.

In particular please remember, that you *MUST* set the environmental
variable `PATCH_THE_KERNEL' (or set it in the config file
/etc/kernel-pkg.conf) or you will end up trying to build an m68k
kernel with unusable sources. The kernel-package scripts that apply
and remove the patches use a symbolic link '2.0.36-extra.diff.gz' in
the /usr/src/kernel-patches/m68k directory to determine which
additional patch to apply. If the symbolic link is missing then only
the m68k 'native' diff is applied and removed. This symbolic link can be
reconfigured using the 'm68k-kp-config' configuration script.

Alternatively use the supplied 'kp36-m68k' script to permanently apply
or remove the patches.
