This is Debian/GNU Linux's prepackaged version of the 'efax' utility.
'efax' permits to send, receive, view and print fax messages. 'efax' was
written by Ed Casas <edc@cce.com>.

This package was put together by Dirk Eddelbuettel <edd@qed.econ.queensu.ca>
from sources at ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/apps/comm/fax/efax07a.tar.gz
and patches for fax and efax from Robert LeBlanc <rjl@renaissoft.com> from
ftp://ftp.renaissoft.com/pub/qfax/patches. These patches, along with
'config.h' from the qfax-1.2d distribution, also from ftp.renaissoft.com,
allow efax to be used with qfax. Other small changes that were made as
adding the Debian package maintenance system as well as editing the 'fax'
script to follow Debian conventions.
