This is Debian/GNU Linux's prepackaged version of the mathpad package.

WARNING: mathpad may be included in Debian but there are restrictions.

This package was put together by me, Erick Branderhorst
<branderhorst@heel.fgg.eur.nl>, from the sources, which I obtained
from ftp.win.tue.nl:
/pub/math.prog.construction/mathpad/mathpad-0.60.tar.gz. The changes
were very minimal - merely adding support for the Debian package
maintenance scheme, by adding various debian.* files.

Roland Backhouse wrote to answer the question if mathpad may be
included in Debian:
