This is the Debian GNU/Linux prepackaged version of taper. Taper is a 
full-screen curses based backup/restore system. Taper may be used with a 
variety of drives or, if desired, a regular file.

This package was put together by Joe Kirby <kirby@utk.edu> and later
modified by Joey Hess <joeyh@master.debian.org> from sources obtained from:
