4.1.0 Release Notes

Channels 4.1 is maintenance release in the 4.x series.

Python and Django support

  • A Python version of 3.8 or higher is required.

  • Django 4.2 is now the minimum supported version.

Bugfixes & Small Changes

  • Exceptions in HttpConsumer are now correctly propagated.
